Following last Saturday’s re-run elections for the Kaduna State House of Assembly elections for Sanga State Constituency which saw the incumbent Member losing her re-election bid, the member, Mrs. Comfort Amwe has appealed to her supporters to remain calm as elections was not a do or die affair.
Speaking with Salama News on Friday, Mrs. Amwe appreciated the electorate for always supporting her political aspirations.
She said though she has lost to retain her seat in the elections, it was the generality of Sanga people that won, because they have spoken through the ballot.
The member congratulated the winner at the polls and wished him well during his tenure , even as she urged him to put the interest of the people above any personal want.
She however, used the occasion to congratulate the Muslim community for a successful Ramadan fast and prayed that God will accept all their sacrifices.
