Worried by the rising mistrust and division between Christians and Muslims in Kaduna State, key stakeholders in both faiths across the state say they are now determined to expose conflict entrepreneurs in the state so as to restore trust and confidence between and amongst the people.

The Vision Pioneer Throneroom Trust Ministry Kafanchan and Chairman Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association, SKCLA, Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure disclosed this on Saturday during an interactive session with newsmen at his residence in Kafanchan.

Apostle Kure who lamented that Kaduna State is sharply divided along religious and ethnic lines, explained that as soon as a new political leadership of the state is installed, the consultations will begin in earnest.

He noted with concern the level of mistrust, fear, division and mutual suspicion that exist between people from the two devides of the state and lamented that the unwholesome behaviors are perpetrated by those who do not wish the state well.

The SKCLA Chairman maintained that the consultative meetings between the Southern and Northern parts of the state will open doors for the restoration of trust just as it was in past when followers of both religions interact, dine and wine together without any form of suspicion of one another are restored for the good of all, irrespective of all differences that exist among the people.
