No fewer than five people have lost their lives following an attack last night by Fulani terrorists in Ungwan Wakili, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

 

Salama News gathered that trouble started earlier on Saturday when a misunderstanding between Security operatives and a Fulani man at a check point in Ungwan Wakili which led to the Fulani man being shot and one police officer.

 

The situation later escalated in the evening when a group of youths who went to a nearby river in Ungwan Wakili for fishing where attacked and one person machetted to death by the rampaging Fulani terrorists.

 

Meanwhile, a twenty hour curfew has been imposed by the Kaduna State Government on four communities of Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, following break down of law and order in the area.

 

A statement issued mid night by the Media Assistant to the Zango Kataf Council Chairman, said the communities affected by the 24 hour curfew include, Ungwan Juju, Mabuhu, Ungwan Wakili and Zango Urban.
