Senator – elect, Kaduna South Senatorial District, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung says security of the Senatorial District remains cardinal in his legislative agenda to pave way for the much needed development.

 

 

Katung, who stated this during an interactive session with newsmen in Zonkwa, headquarters of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area on Tuesday also said much attention will be paid to agriculture, health, as well as vocational training for especially youth, in addition to general development.

 

He explained that he would ensure synergy between relevant stakeholders, particularly, other Lawmakers from the Senatorial District and the executive arm of government in the state to ensure that the region is taken to the next level of development.

 

While thanking the electorate for honor bestowed on him to represent them at the National Assembly, the Senator – elect particularly applauded the people of Zangon Urban district in Atyap chiefdom for not allowing tribal and regious sentiments becloud their conduct in the elections.

 

Katung assured of quality representation at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, even as he called on his contenders to join hands with him to achieve the best result.
