A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State and member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Manzo Maigari has underscored the need for electorate to be more strategic in their choice of Leaders during the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking during a Media parley with Journalists on Friday at his office in Abuja, Dr. Maigari also urged the electorate especially in Southern Kaduna to stop allowing sentiments and ethnicity form the basis for their support for candidates.
He explained that doing so will place them in the disadvantage in the event that the candidate they support does not win the elections.
Dr. Manzo Maigari who is a former Commissioner for Agriculture in Kaduna State, maintained that the APC administration had in the past seven years delivered dividends of democracy to Kaduna State residents especially in the area of infrastructural development.
He said though the administration might have failed in some areas of it’s responsibility, their was the need for the electorate to give the APC at the National and State level another chance to correct her wrongs and consolidate on the successes achieved thus far.
The APC stalwart pointed out that for Nigeria and Kaduna State to be well positioned in the path of progress and development, the electorate in Southern Kaduna should support the emergence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Uba Sani and President and Kaduna State Governor respectively.
Dr. Maigari added that the dou have the capacity to not only deliver on their mandate as leaders, but assemble the right team that will take Kaduna State and Country at large to greater heights.
On the chances of the APC to retain power both in Kaduna State and the Federal government, the former commissioner expressed optimism that the party will win because it still has the support of most Nigerians.
In the area of insecurity, the former Commissioner noted that State Governors are helpless because they do not control security apparatus.
