The Kpop Ham, His Highness, Mr Danladi Gyet Maude has said that Kaduna state needs a political leader that will promote peace and development to guarantee a virile society.

 

Mr Maude said this yesterday while receiving the Kaduna state gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi at his palace at Kwoi, Jaba Local Government Area.

 

The Royal father noted with dismay how roads and schools are in deplorable conditions, coupled with the challenge of insecurity that has for long, bedeviled the state thereby undermining the free flow of legitimate activities.

 

He explained that Kaduna state today requires a leader that will surmount these and many other challenges that hinder its growth and development.

 

The Traditional ruler appealed to his people to ensure they utilize their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs to ensure the emergence of credible leaders that will restore hope and confidence to the people.

 

Earlier, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi had said that he was at the palace to seek the royal blessings of the Kpop Ham regarding his ambition.

 

Later at a campaign rally in Kwoi, Senator Hunkuyi inaugurated the NNPP Campaign Council of the Local Government Area with a charge on members to leave no stone unturned until victory is achieved.
