The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar has pledged to be more proactive in tackling the issue of insecurity bedeviling Southern Kaduna and the country as a whole.

 

Atiku stated this during the 60th birthday anniversary of the Vision Pioneer of Throneroom Trust Ministry, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Kure, on Monday, held in Kafanchan, headquarters of Jema’a Local Government Area.

 

He explained that he was in Southern Kaduna to celebrate with Apostle Kure on his 60th birthday and to also commiserate with the people of Southern Kaduna on the recent killings going on the region.

 

The PDP presidential candidate said though it was not long he met Apostle Emmanuel Kure, eulogized him and the contributions he has made to stabilize the polity and security in the land, through giving the people a direction to follow.

 

Ealier, the celebrant, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Kure said he never knew he would reach sixty because of the many struggles he had to go through in life, but God Grace help him to survive it.

He said as the nation prepares to go to the polls, there was need for all watch men to hold hands and pray for the success of the general elections, pointing out that Nigeria is too precious to be allowed to break away.

Apostle Kure however, thanked the Presidency, Nigerians and his Father in the Lord, Daddy Enoch Adeboye for the mantle he handed over to him at 60.

 

In another development, the governorship candidate of the Labor Party, in Kaduna State, Mr. Jonathan Asake, has joined thousands of well-wishers to congratulate Apostle Kure for attaining sixty.

 

Speaking with newsmen on the sidelines of the sixtieth birthday celebration of the man of God held in Kafanchan, Asake prayed God to keep him for more years to continue with the spiritual role he has been playing and giving direction to the people and the land.

On his part, the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State chapter, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, also described Apostle Kure as man who has sacrificed a lot to unite the Christendom, even as he prayed for more wisdom and strength.

 

He used the occasion to challenge the federal and state governments and the security agencies not to allow the killers of innocent souls in the recent attacks in Southern Kaduna to escape unpunished.

 

He said the recent massacre has further proven that the killers of the Southern Kaduna people have not yet been neutralized as claimed.

Salama News reports that various speakers during celebration also extol the good qualities of Apostle Kure, even as they prayed for long life and prosperity to enable him fulfill God’s works on earth.
