The National Chairman of Labour Party, Barr. Julius Abure, has re-echoed the need for security operatives not to rest on their oars until they arrest those who killed the Party’s women leader in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Speaking when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Manchok on Thursday, Barr. Abure said her death will not be allowed to be swept under the carpet.
The Labour Party National Chairman who spoke through the National Secretary of the Party, Eng. Umar Farouk Ibrahim, also called in the Federal, State and Local Government’s to redouble their efforts to provide security to the people.
He prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and grant the husband of the deceased speedy recovery from the bullet wound he sustain during the incident.
Also speaking, the Kaduna State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Party, Mr. Jonathan Asake, appealed to party supporters not to allow themselves to be intimidated because of their desire to rescue and restore Nigeria and her people back to the days of productivity during the 2023 general elections.
He prayed God to expose the perpetrators and their sponsors, so that they can face the wrath of the law for their actions.
Salama News reports that the National Leadership of the Party and the Party’s Gubernatorial Candidate in Kaduna State, donated an undisclosed amount of money to the deceased family, even as they requested that they be included during the burial rites of the deceased.
It would be recalled that, yet to be identified gunmen on Monday Night, killed Mrs. Victoria Chimtex and shot her husband in their house in Manchok before the fled the scene.
