The Kaduna State Commissioner Public Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Thomas Gyang has expressed confidence that the 2023 general elections will give the electorate to vote in quality leaders.

He stated this on Tuesday in Sabon Tasha, during the inauguration of the Chikun/Kajuru Constituency campaign office of Cafra Caino and the unveiling of her campaign manifesto ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Mr. Thomas Gyang explained that with the projects already executed by the APC administration at the Federal and Kaduna State levels, the party and her candidates stand a better chance of emerging victorious at the polls.

Also speaking during the event, the former speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, who is also the SA political to the executive Governor of the State, Alhaji Aminu Shagali, extol the good qualities of Cafra and urged the people of the constituency to support him to bring quality representation to them.

He described Mr. Cafra Caino as the right man to break the jinx of misrule in Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, considering his track record as a former elected Council chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area.

In his remark, the Chikun/Kajuru All Progressives Congress Candidate, Mr. Cafra Caino, said he joined the race to represent his people because of the misrule and sit tied syndrome of the current occupant of the seat who has been in office for the past twenty years without commiserate development of his people.

Caino who has the campaign slogan of “Girgiza”, appealed to people in his constituency to ensure they support him to change their lot for the better.

Salama News reports that the program was attended by APC party faithfuls and supporters of Cafra Caino across political parties.
